Which foreign universities are included into the ranking? As the CHE ranking mainly is directed towards German and German speaking students, the ranking includes universities from neighboring countries that are either German speaking (as Austria and (parts of) Switzerland or where many German (speaking) students are studying (as e.g. the Netherlands). In addition individual institutions in other countries that are offering programmes in German language are included in the ranking (as e.g. the University of Bolzano in Italy, University Szeged in Hungary or University Bobes-Bolyai in Cluij, Romania). |
