Findings of the CHE Ranking pilot project in Flanders/Netherlands revealed
The CHE ľ Centre for Higher Education Development has carried out a European Commission-financed pilot project in cooperation with the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies (CHEPS) at the University of Twente and the Flemish Ministry for Education in Brussels. The project tested the possibilities for integrating Dutch and Flemish higher education institutions into the CHE-UniversityRanking. The findings of the project will be made public on October 11th in Brussels.
As in Germany, data about departments and study programmes have been acquired for the pilot project for the disciplines of Psychology, English Studies, Business Administration and Electrical Engineering. In addition, students were interviewed about their study conditions. Findings for the University of Maastricht, which is deeply interested in being integrated into the CHE-UniversityRanking due to its proximity to the German-Dutch border, have already been included in the online version of the ranking.
Alongside an introduction and discussion of the findings, the possibility of a European ranking will also be discussed at the closing meeting. Online registration for the session is now possible until the 5th October via the Dutch project partner CHEPS. You will find the agenda and online registration form on the right hand side.
