CHE websites in new design
From today, the CHE websites appear in a brand-new layout and altered design. Apart from updated news about CHE’s work, reviews, background reports, and interviews are now available via the start-up page, thus enabling visitors to keep themselves up to date with relevant topics of higher education developments.
“We have tried to make it easier to retrieve essential information,” project manager Jörg Skorupinski explains. The “hit lists” show those publications and projects which are most frequently visited. New Projects and recent publications of CHE are also referred to separately.
“Our concept of displaying information networks has paid off”, Skorupinski stresses. The basic structure is a so-called “topic map”. It was updated for the new website according to the latest developments in higher education reform, and its presentation was redesigned. These topics are linked to the people who work on them, as well as to related projects and publications. The user can thus search and find contents via different ways and approaches.
