New CHE University Ranking of Master’s programmes in Business Administration, Economics, Business Computing and Economic Sciences
The latest online ranking, published today, reflects the opinions of students pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Computing, Economics and Economic Sciences. ZEIT Campus has published the results of a selection of criteria. Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences does especially well in the CHE University Ranking of Master’s programmes in Business Administration at universities of applied sciences. Göttingen University and Mannheim University do extremely well in the ranking of Business Administration programmes at universities.
The range of programmes available in the area of business and economics is particularly wide. Prospective Master’s students can choose from an extensive range of programmes at both universities and universities of applied sciences. For the subject of Business Administration alone, the latest CHE University Ranking contains extensive data on more than 130 Master’s programmes at universities of applied sciences and over 60 courses at universities. What is the overall study situation, the international outlook, contact with the work environment in the case of universities of applied sciences or research orientation in Master’s programmes at universities? The current edition of ZEIT Campus presents the results of a selection of criteria and states the number of Master’s students in each subject:
Göttingen University and Mannheim University are in the top group for the subject of Business Administration at universities in all five criteria. Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is prominent among the universities of applied sciences, making the top group four out of four times.
In the case of Business Computing at universities, Bamberg University and Paderborn University were included in the top group four out of five times.
Bayreuth University, Göttingen University and Trier University stood out in the subject of Economics, making the top group four times.
In the case of Economic Sciences at universities, students rated highly universities in Bochum, Frankfurt a.M., Mainz, Paderborn and Ulm as well as the private Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, all of which are in the top group in the “overall study situation” category.
Over 20 indicators were included in this year’s ranking of Master’s programmes. The surveying of Master’s students took place between April and July 2017. In addition to student ratings, the ranking also includes the results of factual indicators such as the number of Master’s students in the department or its international outlook.
