The CHE UniversityRanking 2011/2012 will be published in the DIE ZEIT Study Guide on 3 May
The CHE UniversityRanking is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking of universities and universities of applied sciences in Germany. It also covers higher education institutions in Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
The ranking presents data for more than 30 disciplines each year. Fresh data is collected for one-third of the disciplines every three years. This yearís ranking presents new data for law, economics and social sciences as well as media sciences, communication sciences and social work. In addition to facts about studying, teaching, equipment and research, the ranking also includes more than 250,000 student evaluations of the study conditions at their HEI.
Selected data about student evaluations, research indicators, HEIsí reputations and equipment are published by the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT in its DIE ZEIT Study Guide 2011/2012. The guide also provides information about how to choose and apply for an HEI programme, i.e. it helps prospective students select the right study programme and location and gives tips for starting the study programme and how to finance it. DIE ZEIT Study Guide presents many disciplines clearly, and in detail, and provides subject-related information about Bachelorís and Masterís programmes.
